The Empty Stomach Diet - 7 Foods to Enjoy!
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!  Does this sound familiar?  We’ve all heard it often enough, and if you make the right food choices with an empty stomach, it will set you up for a wonderful day!  So here at StayHealthyTV we will cover foods to enjoy on an empty stomach.  So check out the following foods on our Do List.  This can help you arrange your diet intake.

1. Honey
If you thought that coffee can wake you up in the morning, you thought wrong.  Honey will shake you wide awake in the morning and increase your energy levels, as well as improve your mood, because it increases the serotonin hormone- the one responsible for your happiness. It also awakens the brain and you will be more productive and focused throughout the entire day.

2. Oatmeal
Protection from Hydrofluoric Acid? Check. Protection from Irritation and Damage? Check. Lowers your cholesterol? Check.

3. Papaya
Eating papaya on an empty stomach releases a powerful enzyme which is thought to aid digestion and reduces the risk of colon cancer by clearing free radicals from the digestive tract. Papaya is also very high in fibre, vitamin E, and vitamin C, all very necessary for healthy food digestion.

4. Eggs
Eggs are a great start to the day. They are rich in protein and plenty of nutritive ingredients which will be a perfect booster of your metabolism as well as your energy levels.  Eggs are known to cut your daily calorie intake, as well as supply you with sufficient nutritive ingredients.

5. Blueberries
Blueberries are one of the healthiest fruits on the planet; they are low in calories, but they improve memory, improve blood pressure and circulation, and improve metabolism. Their benefits are augmented when consumed for breakfast! You can put them on oatmeal, eat them in a fruit salad, or just pick at them on their own.

6. Watermelon
Unlike the citrus fruits, this fruit has all it takes to have a great start to the day. First of all, it contains a lot of water, second of all it’s great for your eye and heart health. This fruit should be on your breakfast menu!

7. Buckwheat
Opt for buckwheat, as it gently stimulates digestion. It is a great source of protein, iron, and vitamins, and is incredibly malleable. add it to smoothies, make pancakes and waffles, or make them into buckwheat bars for breakfast on the go.
