Belly Fat - Sometimes it seems impossible to move it!  Well don’t despair!  Nature’s pantry is full of herbal remedies; it’s a treasure-trove of fresh vegetables and fruits – all there, just for our benefit!   So today at StayHealthyTV, we will share how to get the most out of this delicious bounty with belly fat burning Smoothie recipes.

Let’s start off with a simple Smoothie recipe first.  Throw into the mixer:

1 cup green grapes, ½ cup pineapple, 2 cups fresh spinach, ½ ripe banana, peeled, ½ cup water, 1 cup ice cubes.  Blend all these ingredients together & enjoy.

These delicious smoothie recipes make it easy to eat healthy with fruit, milk, protein and other nutritious ingredients.  Here are 4 more recipes to try:

1. Very Berry Breakfast:  Start your day off with a bang with this fruit-packed smoothie.
Combine 1.5 cups water, 1 cup spinach, 2 cups frozen mixed berries, ½ cup plain low-fat yogurt, 2 scoops vanilla protein powder, 1 tbsp walnuts, 1 tbsp ground flaxseed.  Blend these ingredients until smooth, you can add a little lemon juice to taste if you want.
2. Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Banana Shake:  You’d never guess a cup of spinach is hiding in this delicious shake!
Combine 1.5 cups water, milk or yogurt, 2 scoops chocolate flavoured protein powder, 1 banana, 1 cup of spinach, 2 tbsp of natural peanut butter, 1 tbsp dark cocoa powder.  Blend to a creamy consistency.

3. Blueberry Spinach Smoothie:  High in antioxidants and a good source of fibre, this makes berries a great disease-fighting fruit.
Into the blender mix 2/3 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1 banana, 2/3 cup frozen blueberries, 1 cup spinach, ½ cup milk of your choice (dairy, coconut, soy, almond), 2 tsp protein powder (optional) 1 tbsp honey or to taste.  Blend until smooth.  Add more milk as you please to reach the desired consistency.

4.  Ginger Mango Spinach Smoothie:  This one’s jam-packed full of deliciousness – and it’s good for you too!  Blend together:
1 cup frozen chopped mango, 1 banana, ½ cup spinach, ½ cup Greek yogurt, 1 tsp freshly grated ginger, ½-3/4 cup vanilla coconut milk or milk of your choice.  Give this a whirl until smooth.  Add more milk to reach desired consistency.

The combinations are endless, you’re only limited by your imagination.  Experiment! Try different flavour combinations.  But above all, ENJOY!
